What the result looks like

Planets in signs hold; houses and rising sign move
- The Ascendant changes sign roughly every two hours, and the house cusps move with it.
- The Moon changes sign about every two and a half days, so on some dates the birth time decides its sign.
- Without a birth time you still get the planets in signs and their aspects; the houses, Ascendant and Midheaven are left out.
Is the natal chart calculator really free?
Yes. The chart, the tables and the Moon at your birth are free, with no account and no e-mail. The written report is a separate, paid product.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Tick "I don't know my birth time". The planets in signs stay correct; the houses, the Ascendant and the Midheaven need the time and are left out, and the Moon is shown as the range it covered that day.
Do you store my birth data?
No. The details travel in the request, are used for one calculation and are not written to any database, log or address. Nothing is kept on your device either, unless you choose a report button, which keeps them in this tab for two hours.
Which house system and zodiac do you use?
Tropical zodiac and Placidus houses by default. Above the polar circles, where Placidus is undefined, the chart switches to Porphyry and says so. You can also pick Whole sign, Equal or Koch.
Why can my chart differ from another site?
Usually the birth time or its time zone. We work out the historical offset for your town and date, including summer time, and show it before you calculate.
