Secondary Progressions Astrology
Secondary progressions move your birth chart forward symbolically — one day after birth for each year of life — to describe how your character unfolds over time. The progressed Moon marks emotional chapters of about two and a half years; the progressed Sun and the progressed lunation cycle set a rhythm of roughly thirty years; solar arc directions move the whole chart together and bring even the slowest planets into play. The guides below explain each technique from the ground up, how progressions differ from transits and solar returns, and how to read them as a description of growth rather than a timetable of fate.
